In addition to the 9 Byåsen teams, 40 other teams played in Guttelag 7 år (født 2016). They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Byåsen IL 5 could be found in Group I together with Sverresborg Fotball Svb 2, Trond, IL 3, Flatås Idrettslag 3 and Vestbyen IL 2.
