During Flatås Julecup 2023, Leinstrand had 5 teams playing in Herrer Senior, Guttelag 11 år (født 2012) and Damer Senior respectively. Two teams played until Final in Slutspel A; Herrer Senior lost against Kattem IL Fotballklubb 2 by 1-3 and Damer Senior lost against Ranheim IL 2 by 1-3. Leinstrand comes from LEINSTRAND which lies approximately 6 km from Flatåsen, where Flatås Julecup takes place.
