In addition to the three Melhus teams, 14 other teams played in Jentelag 12 år (født 2011). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Melhus IL 2 could be found in Group D together with Heimdal Fotballklubb 2, Astor Fotballklubb 1, Flatås Idrettslag 1 and Vestbyen IL 1.
