Malvik comes from VIKHAMAR which lies approximately 16 km from Flatåsen, where Flatås Julecup takes place. The area around VIKHAMAR does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Flatås Julecup 2018 (Among others: Ranheim IL, Utleira IL, Kvik, FK, Strindheim IL, Remyra IL, Nationalkameratene Sportsklub, Charlottenlund Sportsklubb, Tangmoen IL - Fotball, Othilienborg IL and Lånke IL).
