In addition to the four Heimdal FK teams, 16 other teams played in Guttelag 16 år (født 2001). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Heimdal FK 2 could be found in Group B together with Melhus IL G16, Byåsen 1 and Nardo FK 1.
Heimdal FK 2 made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group B. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Byåsen 2, which they won with 3-2.
